Apex offers local pick up from home or school.
After completing the Drivers Education course, (upon passing) the student will receive a Certificate.
PARENTS * STUDENTS*
KEEP your "Certificates" until you take your "Drive test". The DPS will ask for it. ALSO, make copies of the "Certificate" in case you change insurance companies!
The student MUST have the certificate for the driving test, and to show your Insurance agent. For a $10 (CASH) fee, another original can be made of the contract and/or certificate.
If the student misses his/her scheduled drive time, the drive time can be rescheduled for the fee of $65 (CASH) per hour!
If the Apex student wishes more drive time, that can be scheduled for a fee of $40.00 per hour .
Apex's car may be used for the Driving Test at the DPS for a fee of $25 (CASH). IF THE CAR IS AVAILABLE!! If student needs to be picked up and taken to DPS, the fee is $30 (CASH).
Effective JULY 1, 2011, Parallel Parking will be a maneuver on the Driver's test given by the Department of Public Safety.
